I absolutely loved the convenience of being able to do this test from the comfort of our home. Our dog is a bit sensitive with her ears and she has been hating going to the ver lately, so it was nice to do this test ourselves and at her own pace with a lot of patience, love and treats. This test was easy to activate and easy to follow instructions. We got our results literally 3 days later, so so quick. I liked being able to see the lab results pictures too. Super cool!
We are a three dog house and have one dog with repeat ear infections that are managed by our vet. We know the signs she has when an infection is brewing so we were worried when our male GSD started shaking his head a lot. We checked his ears and while one was fine, the other was a little red and had some brown stinky discharge. As it was a weekend and he seemed otherwise fine, we decided to try the ear test from MSPL. Test was easy to use and results went straight to our vet, who called us that same day to review. We have an action plan for him and feel relieved!
Our dog had some usual swelling on his ear flap and was scratching and rubbing his ears on the carpet. We had a vet appt set but decided to test, internet suggested ear mites. Good news, no mites abut some high levels of bacteria and yeast. Results came quickly and was able to send to vet from mysimplepetlab website directly ahead of our appointment.
